- Blue indicator bristles
On manual toothbrush, there is a general rule of thumb that you need to change it after 3 months of use, or if bristles started to become frayed. Alfawise RST2056 Sonic Electric Toothbrush does not have that kind of rule but you can still know the right time to change it because of its blue indicator bristles.

Proper Care and Handling
If you never use an electric toothbrush before, you may wonder if there are special proper care guidelines for this type of toothbrush. Good news is, there is none!
Manual and electric toothbrushes have the same guideline and those are the following:
- Rinse it properly and let it dry after use.
- Store it in a closed container in an upright position and properly covered. This is to ensure no microorganism will grow on the bristles.
- Sanitize it by soaking in mouthwash for a few minutes or purchase UV sanitizers.
- Replace it on time.
- The electric toothbrushes just have one added instruction, and that is to clean the charging base regularly. You can do this by wiping it with a wet soft cloth. Also, never dip it in water.
- Before you do the cleaning make sure to unplug it first.
- If you want to extend the battery’s life, here are the things you can do: charge it when it is fully drained, do not overcharge the battery and do not charge it in between use. The said conditions are the common cause for a battery to shorten out.
- For the battery’s charger, always ensure to put it in a safe and dry place to prevent accidents such as electrocution.
- If the charger is broken or lost, you must replace it with the same brand or any charger that is compatible to the toothbrush.
After weeks of trying this toothbrush, we can confidently say that Alfawise RST2056 Sonic Electric Toothbrush is a great addition to our oral care kit. This is recommended for everyone and suitable for all ages.
Also, advantageous if you are someone who always came home late and suffered an exhaustive day at work or school. In those situations, we usually will rush brushing our teeth so we can go immediately to bed.
Obviously, this is not wise to do because not all foreign residues on our teeth have been removed. This can lead to tooth decay or other serious teeth-related diseases. But with Alfawise RST2056 Sonic Electric Toothbrush, this can be avoided because we have no choice but to wait for the cycle to end.
On this last part, we would like to answer the question we have earlier, which of the two toothbrushes is the most effective?
Our verdict: both toothbrushes are effective to use but… the electric toothbrush has more advantage since it has added features. These added features triple the speed of the usual brushing without adding efforts from the user.
