Xiaomi’s 8th-anniversary conference is just right around the corner. Previously we’ve seen a lot of leaks regarding the release dates of Xiaomi Mi 8 and Xiaomi’s MIUI 10.

These are to be revealed in the 8th-anniversary conference on 31st May 2018.

Today, the latest news arrived claiming that the Xiaomi Mi 8, the Xiaomi’s flagship of the year 2018 may have Samsung OLED display.

Though, it was already made clear that Xiaomi Mi 8 is going to have an 18:9 display, all thanks to the latest rumors and leaks. But, recently on the microblogging website, Weibo. 

Someone has posted that the Xiaomi Mi 8 may arrive with an OLED panel that is manufactured by Samsung.

The OLED panel will help the device to offer great color depth and accuracy. On the other hand, the present day IPS LCDs (in Xiaomi Mi 6) suffers a lot under the direct sunlight, and the blacks on display aren’t perfectly black also.

Although, the IPS panels in the present day Xiaomi smartphones and tablets are of great quality.

Apart from that, It has been already made clear that their new ROM for the year 2018, i.e., MIUI 10 is going to support devices with 18:9 displays.

Furthermore, they may also reveal another device Redmi 6 on the 31st May itself.
