Jackery Fit Review: Rechargeable Portable Battery

Rechargeable Portable Battery Jackery Fit – 10,200 mAh

The Jackery brand sent us another of its portable batteries to charge smartphones and tablets to carry out a review. Jackery devices such as Jackery Giant + battery 12,000 mAh and Jackery Pop 5,000 mAh left people very satisfied with the design and usability.

This time, we are talking about the latest rechargeable portable battery version of Jackery: Jackery Fit. It has a 10.200 mAh capacity and it also offers the flashlight function.

This battery is available in three colors: gold, silver, and orange. Curiously, this new charger is not available in all markets yet. The gold one is available on Amazon for US $ 58 but it costs € 27,99 in orange and silver. You can still find on Amazon (Spain) the Jackery Fit de 9.000 mAh p € 27,99.

In the box is included the Jackery Fit battery and the micro USB – USB 2.0 cable to charge your devices. It also includes a user guide, an instruction card for users to review the product and a coupon to download the Jackery app for iOS that allows monitoring your iPhone or iPad battery.

Technical features

  • Lithium-ion battery
  • 5000 mAh capacity
  • 2 USB ports (5 V/2.4 A)
  • 1 micro USB port (5 V/2.1 A)
  • Dimensions: 9,90 x 6,35 x 2,03 cm
  • Weight: 207 grams

Keeping as minimalist as Jackery Giant+ and Jackery Pop, the portable battery Jackery Fit has a modern and elegant design.

The aluminum case covers the battery and their ends it has two white plastic covers. The top of the aluminum cover has three charging level indicators, each one with two blue LED lights.

According to LED lights, the charging level is the following:

  • 1 intermittent LED: less than 10%
  • 1 LED on: between 10% – 35%
  • 2 LEDs on: between 35% – 70%
  • 3 LEDs on: between 70% – 100%

The button to verify the charging level through LED lights is on the side. This button also works to turn on the flashlight, which is a white LED light.

On the right side of the battery, the closest to the flashlight button and LED lights, there is the flashlight itself and the USB ports.

According to Jackery, this portable battery has four layers of smart protection and it offers a lifetime of more than 500 charges.

Thanks to its advanced power block system, this battery allows you to keep the battery charge for approximately 6 months. Besides, after completely discharge it, the Jackery Fit only took 7 hours and 45 minutes to recharge. A little bit less than manufacturer indications, which says approximately 8 hours.

To charge the battery, you can do it through a PC USB port or a plug adapter connected to an outlet.

To put it in a simple way; this battery was tested with HTC One M9 (2.840 mAh of capacity) and it charged the smartphone battery completely three times and 73% the fourth time.

Using the iPhone 5C (1.507 mAh of capacity), it charged the smartphone battery seven times and there is still a little charge left, but it is less than 10%.

Finally, an HP 8-1401 tablet (3.800 mAh of capacity). Jackery Fit recharge this device twice and 61% on the third try.

What I like about this portable battery over similar devices of this brand is that it comes with two 2.4 A USB ports; ensuring a fast charge. Remember that Jackery Giant+ has a 2.1 A USB port and a 1 A USB port, and the Jackery Pop only has two 1 A USB ports.

Even though charging two devices at the same time is slower than charging one, you can do it without worries due to its two 2,4 A USB ports. Remember this portable battery supports Apple, Android, Windows phone and others.

A cool detail is that you can charge other devices while charging the battery itself. Regarding the flashlight function, it will always be useful but don’t expect a powerful light.

Final conclusion

  • The two 2.4 A USB port allows fast charges
  • Great design
  • You can charge two devices at the same time
  • It lacks an Apple cable
  • The plug adapter is not included

Of all the portable rechargeable batteries tried so far, this is the best. The design is attractive, the capacity of the battery and the two fast charging ports are what undoubtedly give it an extra value and still costing 58 dollars. It’s worth it.
